About Us

Welcome to the Pennington Business and Professionals Association (PBPA)!

Established in 1985, the PBPA has worked tirelessly to make Pennington the town it is today. The PBPA is a network of business owners and professionals who collaborate with one another to form a strong and vibrant community. We encourage the residents of Pennington to “think local, buy local, and support local”.

The businesses of Pennington add to the thriving vitality of our small town. On Main Street alone, there are shops where you can find great fashion, unique gifts, and a variety of fantastic food. But that isn’t all Pennington has to offer; the PBPA also includes skilled doctors, dentists, attorneys, financial advisors, realtors, and designers, here to offer their professional services. With over 160 businesses, the possibilities are endless. These local businesses combine to form the core of our close-knit community. We are proud to represent Pennington and all its vivid culture.

The PBPA is is also proud to support and be involved with community events. We host the annual Holiday Walk, where families join together to watch the tree lighting and admire the decorative snowflakes around town. In addition, we participate in the Pennington Memorial Day parade and sponsor the Fritz Bayless Memorial Fund for graduates of Hopewell Valley Central High School pursuing business. We make annual appearances at community events like Pennington Day and the Hopewell Harvest Fair, as well.

The PBPA invites you to join us in our efforts to serve our town and community. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, and times are generally from 5:45 to 7:30 PM. Locations vary and are held at member businesses.
